Hi, I’m Zack Barragan, REALTOR® with RE/MAX Precision & Rodriguez Real Estate.
I help buyers and sellers across Ankeny and the greater Des Moines metro make confident, well-informed real estate decisions—without pressure, confusion, or surprises.
I grew up in Ankeny and have lived here for over 30 years. Watching Ankeny evolve from a small town into one of the fastest-growing communities in Central Iowa has given me a deep understanding of how neighborhoods, schools, development, and market trends have changed over time. That local perspective allows me to help clients make smart decisions about where to buy, how to price, and when to make a move.
As an Iowa native and Simpson College alum, I bring both local roots and a big-picture perspective to every transaction. Before real estate, I spent over a decade working in marketing, communications, and content strategy, supporting small businesses as well as a Fortune 500 company. Today, that experience gives my clients a real advantage when it comes to pricing strategy, market positioning, negotiation, and exposure—particularly for sellers who want their home to stand out.
