About Dustin
Through all of the years and many life transitions, my love for real estate was deep within me. I found myself viewing houses for sale online and researching everything I could about real estate investing. The more I learned the more my excitement grew, and my journey officially began when my wife and I purchased our first rehab house back in 2016. It took six months to buy, rehab, and sell our first investment property. I was hooked! Two months later, I officially started a company called Kairos Homes with a good friend, Kurt Rutledge, specializing in residential rehabs. We now have learned to flip properties, buy and hold properties and manage rental properties.
As my passion for real estate increased, I decided to pursue my real estate license. I knew instantly that this is what I was meant to do. As a licensed agent, I am excited to partner with the entire RE/MAX Precision team to exceed the expectations of those we serve, creating a memorable 5-star experience. Some of my favorite moments are being able to relay that an offer is accepted or seeing the smiles when a client is holding the keys to their home for the first time.
I reside in Grimes, Iowa, with my beautiful wife of 16 years, Allison, and our three wonderful children, Trey, Trevor, and Tessa. I am excited to be an example for my children and instill the same work ethic, drive and desire to be entrepreneurs that my parents instilled in me. I’m looking forward to carrying on that legacy. My family is my inspiration!
