I grew up in the country on a dairy farm in the rural community of Melcher-Dallas, Iowa. In high school I was a captain of the basketball team and helped lead the team to a conference title. I graduated from Iowa State University in 2008 with a degree in Business Marketing — by the way I bleed cardinal and gold! I chose to live near Des Moines because I loved the local music scene, Gray’s Lake, all the amazing restaurants, and basically just wanted to be part of the growing city — and Des Moines hasn’t disappointed! My family & I reside in Pleasantville. The move brought us closer to family while still having easy access to everything around Des Moines! When I’ve got down time, I enjoy binging on TV shows, enjoying the local trails, and spending time with my wife and kids!
